New star update: Didn't know Jack

Following up on this post about the new mural on the side of the Hollywood High School, it is now filled in enough to reveal who the mystery star is:

John Ritter.

And yes, it appears they intend to put him in a teal suit with a lavender shirt.

Here's to you

One more shot from the Chalk Festival.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads.

Chalk it up, day 2 (sweet)

More completed drawings from the Pasadena Chalk Festival. As you'll see from the event's site, the drawing on the left was the big winner.

The next two were also recipients of awards.

Chalk it up, day 2 (costumes and stuff)

More chalk drawings from the Pasadena Chalk Festival (including some award winners). These did not appear in their inchoate state in yesterday's post, however.

(With this first shot, I suspect one of the individuals is the artist and the other is an interviewer, as there was a camera crew next to this one.)

Chalk it up, day 2 (not so sweet)

More from the Pasadena Chalk Festival.

Here's the drawing from above split up into two shots with better detail:

Chalk it up, day 2

Following up on yesterday's shots from the beginning of the Pasadena Chalk Festival, here's (most of) those same drawings in their completed state.

The winners in the various categories (some of which are included here) can be seen here.

Chalk it up

Shots from the initial stages of the Pasadena Chalk Festival, earlier today when the artists where still rendering their masterpieces.
