Kohala region of the Big Island of Hawai'i
In the water by the beach of the Mauni Lani resort, green sea turtles (Honu) feed on algae just below the surface.
(They can hold their breath for a long time, so catching a shot of the head coming up to breathe is easier said than done.)

The third one is my favorite: composition, the green in the lower left hand corner, the angle of the turtle to the viewer. The way the water is swirling around with the highlights makes the head and eyes really stand out, giving depth. It's almost all about the lighting, isn't it?

Light is everything; it's as though "photo" referred to that or something.
