  1. I like the first one better. All the focus is on the weathering.

    Maybe I've been brainwashed but one time I saw an article on color composition that stated that people are always drawn first to red in a photo. Even though the stoplights in the background are out of focus, they detract from the main subject, at least for me. I know I've taken shots and some red object in the background -- like a car -- pulls my eyes away from the subject.

    Of course, that's how my head works. Your own mileage may vary.
